I have two related requests for help
1) aidinfo are looking recruit a couple of people who are passionate about promoting transparency & accountability, and excited by the potential of open data. We have two positions
* An Aid Transparency Programme Manager who will lead our work to promote transparency of all poverty-focused resources, including through the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI). (note: the deadline for this role is quite tight. 25th Feb)
* An Open Aid Data Analyst to support and promote the use of open aid data, and increase the availability and quality of data.
Please forward to anyone you think might be interested. More details on the website (aidinfo.org/about-us/recruitment<http://www.aidinfo.org/about-us/recruitment>), or contact me directly.
2) I'm looking to compile a list of must-read resources for people new to the open development / open data/ transparency scene, and thought I might crowdsource. So what do you think are the definitive papers, blogs (etc.) that would serve well as an introduction?
Grateful for your thoughts. I'll share the results back with the group.
