I had a long chat with Lee Thorn in Chennai this
morning. His phone # is +91989871824942.
As you know, he has been quite forceful in getting
Cisco Foundation to clear the decks to support the
meeting and its aftermath RCFIIs. To convert intent to
reality we need to put up a one-pager that will
oultine what the rcfiis will achieve and maybe also
when.
Everyone agrees that the knowledge encapsulated in
wsfii is unparalleled. This needs to be captured in a
way that will translate into monies so that the
fledgling rcfiis are sustainable and attract a steady
stream of grassroots participants from villages all
over the country - we all know that the 'trickle-down'
model is no good while our own 'grassroots up' method
builds confidence and delivers real results, but to
get money we have to take on City Hall.
Can you please ask Yahel to set up a conference call
from Tibtec tomorrow, while you are still in
Dharamsala, between all of you, Lee in Chennai and
perhaps me here in Mumbai, to establish just what the
one pager will say?
