Greetings All;
I'm writing from Ottawa Canada, and am seriously thinking of attending
the summit in October. I am working with a small community group alled
ogWifi (ottawa-gatineau WiFi), we are in the process of getting our
first hotspots together. I am also a phd student working on a
comprehesive paper on the topic of community built communication
infrastructures for contested territories. I am really keen on learning
more of what is going on in India and elsewhere in these areas and the
whole summit in general on both the conference and hand on streams in
the fiel. A friend (Michael Lenczner) suggested that maybe i could
present something or talk about what i am studying and doing here in
Ottawa. Should you be interested let me know, it would not be technical
but more from a social or cultural geography perspective.
here are a few links for you to follow up on.
The Wiki looks great btw.
