First of all: continuing fc-uk-discussers: does anyone
have relevant friendly contacts in CC-UK to deliver them the
collecting societies material gathered so far, are they reading
this list anyway, shall we hand off to them totally, or what?

I admit I did wonder whether this was the case, or whether it
was general disillusionment, or whether it was something else,
and I would have asked off-list if you hadn't posted this, as
I've learned from painful experience not to jump to conclusions.

Thank you for the explanation, thank you for your contribution
and I wish you well in your future work.

However, *this* was possibly the most killer parting shot I've
seen for a long long time:-
